What are your minimum qualifications you require for one to be enrolled by your College?
Our target students are professional people or people with some work experiences, these they automatically qualify for our professional diploma programs. However, the rest can enter through 5-O levels/equivalent or through maturity entry. To date about 58% of our students have first degrees, 5% have master degrees, 2% medical/vet doctors/dentists/ Radiographers etc, 10% with some diploma or other certificates, 20% straight from industry with some working experience, 5% O-levels and A-levels.
How are your classes conducted?
Our classes are done during weekends and you only attend your classes once a month that is either Saturday or Sunday from 9AM to 4PM. However, we also have customized class arrangements to suit the busy schedules for some of our students?
Can I study through online learning?
Yes it is possible to study with us through online distance learning. You will receive your learning material through your email that include practical examination assignments which we call open book examinations. We have students in the region studying with us through this online distance learning.
Which board do you offer your programs with?
ALDN Virtual College is registered with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development to offers its own programs as an examining board.
How long are your diploma programs (Duration)
All our professional diploma programs are 12 month to complete?
Every month we have at least a new intake. So you can start to study with us anytime
you are ready. However, you can call our admin for the next intake for the month.
Tell me about the learning packages for students?
Students are given learning materials each time they attend a lecture as soft copies. The student learning package include the lecture notes, at least a pdf related to the module done and a work based assignment to be done over the next 30 days.
What are your payment options for the fees?
- Option 1-Students can pay all the fees at once;
- Option 2: Students can pay on monthly installments for 12 months.
Check also our proforma invoice for the cost structure of our diploma programs. Our fees are pegged in USD since it is a stable currency, but however, will also accept other currencies acceptable in Zimbabwe based on the prevailing rate on the day of transactions.
Are your programs recognized by the industry?
All our programs are professional diploma programs that are industry value. We place our training emphasis on acquisition of relevant competencies demanded by the industry. We discourage paper chase and promote developing relevant skills, knowledge and attitude for the area of your study. The industry seek professionals who can demonstrate their knowledge on
the role they are employed to perform. We train you to develop confidence and right skills needed by the industry, hence you become an asset in the industry. In 2014 SAQA started recognizing our programs. SAQA is The South African Qualifications Authority.
